Joint Exhibition Project

The Artists' Guild and the Boca Raton Community High School have formed a partnership of Guild members and high school students to exhibit fine art in three juried art exhibitions during each school year. The fall of 2009 will be the start of the sixth year of this collaborative effort.

The juried original artwork is displayed in the Main Administrative Office at the high school.  All the artwork is for sale with a portion of the sales benefiting the Boca Raton Museum of Art.

Juror's Statement:
I was thrilled to be asked to be the juror for the Boca Raton Community High school exhibition. I have been in Boca Raton for two years, teaching foundations at Florida Atlantic University, and I am happy to have the opportunity to expand my involvement in the arts here beyond the University, into the community at large. I found the work of the Guild members to be highly professional and wide ranging. I was particularly pleased to be able to see the work of the students of Boca Raton Community High School. It is a testament to both their talent and the talent of their teachers that the work was of such high quality. It is inspiring to see people come together as a community to celebrate, encourage and exhibit the work of artists of all ages. I wish all parties luck in their continued artistic endeavors. ~ Liz Atzberger
