Juror's Welcome
The Artists' Guild of the Boca Raton Museum of Art has recently completed our new gallery exhibition space at 512 E. Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, FL. Along with our other advancements, we would like to restructure the jurying process for admitting signature members into the Guild and we would like to enhance the jurying process for all of our exhibits.
In order to accomplish these objectives we would like to re-establish contact with those who may have been jurors in the past and we would also like to solicit new jurors. Jurors cannot be a member of The Artists' Guild.
We are interested in working with prospective jurors who would like to help us advance our goals. The number of entries in all of our shows is increasing and we want to insure that works admitted meet certain universal standards of competence, quality and merit. While some jurors we have worked with in the past may have had a preference for a certain type of work or a favorite medium, we want to reinforce that there is a distinction between choosing work that has appeal to a specific juror and work which is of merit by any standard.
If you would like to work with us as a juror, or know of anyone else who would be interested, we would like to hear from you. We are requesting that perspective jurors who have credentials and qualifications respond by filling out the enclosed form and returning to the address below with a brief statement about their philosophy for jurying works of art.
The Artists' Guild will make sure that all jurors receive the proper recognition for their professional service.
Sincerely,
Gloria Berger
Jury Committee Chair
