June Katchen is a master of many mediums. She works in glass on metal (formerly called enamels), acrylics, and mixed media collage.

June received her Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Guanajuanto, Instituto Allende, Mexico.  She did post-graduate art studies at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey.  She has taught glass on metal as a painters medium at Old Dominion University, Chrysler Art Museum and design at Trenton Jr. College.  Her art work has been in juried and invitational shows in galleries and museums here and abroad, and are included in collections worldwide.

The state of New Jersey invited Katchen to exhibit her paintings at the New York World's Fair, New Jersey Pavillion.  She was the only artist accorded that honor.
